One Dreamscape Sea Surface, multiple cameras - dave_s - 06-14-2007 I have a scene with three cameras all trying to use an adaptive sea surface mesh at the same time. How do I remove a camera from the adaptive selection so I can add a new camera? Thanks in advance. Re: One Dreamscape Sea Surface, multiple cameras - sitnisati - 06-18-2007 Hello, You just go and pick different camera. Old camera will be automatically removed. Regards, Kresimir Re: One Dreamscape Sea Surface, multiple cameras - dave_s - 07-30-2007 Thanks Kresmir. That should work in theory, however when I try and select another camera, it adds it to an "un-scrollable" list in the seas surface modifier panel. The only way to change cameras is to delete the previous camera from the scene, then select the new camera. Sometimes the function works propoerly, however it is frustrating when it doesn't. Has anyone else out there had this problem? Re: One Dreamscape Sea Surface, multiple cameras - hometime - 07-30-2007 Something is definitely wrong with what is happening, Dave, you should not be able to select more than one camera per adaptive mesh. Selecting one camera would reject any camera that had already been selected, previously. I think you should try deleting the present sea surface mesh and start again. If you continue, I see no reason why eventually you would not get errors and maybe very possibly the whole scene become corrupt and unusable. Don Re: One Dreamscape Sea Surface, multiple cameras - dave_s - 08-28-2007 I have tried that also with no luck. Also, this has happened on a number of jobs and at different work locations, so it seems to be a bug with the software. For info, it has also happened on previous versions of Dreamscape. As I said before, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. My workaround is to save individual files of the same scene with different cameras to avoid the problem but that slows the workflow a little. I guess I was just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues. |
