Substitution for Vray GI Fume scene - emil_vfx - 05-21-2007 Hello everyone! Since FumeFX doesn't support Vray and GI, is there any possibility to create volumetric Fume smoke, that creates self-shadows and also casts and receives shadows? Thank you very much in advance! Greets emil_vfx - sitnisati - 05-21-2007 Hello Emil, You can download FumeFX 1.0a that does support VRay GI. Regards, Kresimir Re: Substitution for Vray GI Fume scene - emil_vfx - 06-13-2007 Thank you. Unfortunately I cannot get a nice looking dense smoke with a proper thick shadow on the ground, although I have a light in the scene (which casts Vray Shadow and is also listed in the Fume UI). GI in Vray is activated, too. If anyone has an simple example scene, I will be very happy! Thanks in advance! I'll try it! It seems that when adding lights to the FumeFX via the Illum. Tab, the simulation needs to be re-run again... Greets emil_vfx |
