Grouped Objects - jrand - 03-08-2007 I am having a small problem. I have a reactor simulation with a fragmented object. When the object impacts the collision surface I would like flaming fragments. I have succeeded using pflow but...I was wondering if it was possible to used grouped objects with the object source emitter. When I go to add the object source it will only select one fragment of the group object. Is there a workaround for this or do I have to try and add an object source for every fragment? Thanks, John - Rif - 03-08-2007 i v been doing the same thing for over years.. but my method dosnt use pflow at all .. eh.. - jrand - 03-09-2007 Hehe, I assume you use TP instead of Pflow? Or you have a secret method  - Rif - 03-09-2007 no secret method.. it just i feel sad to always say tp here.. while the only thing that peoples get with max is pflow .. so i m not mentionning it anymore.. if peoples wants my methods shared , its pretty clear i have a place where i share it and it will not offend anyone
- jrand - 03-09-2007 well fair enough , really don't see why people should be offended, your just building a house with a different hammer, no big deal.Although I was hoping that it was to do only with fume. |
