Fumefx 4.1.1 crash when multiple effectors are used - mpiatek - 06-04-2018

Hey guys, I have a problem where FumeFX 4.1.1 working on Max 2018.4 on Windows 10 crashes every single time if I have three effectors assigned to my FumeFX grid and I am trying to simulate. Sometimes Fume will simulate a couple of frames, sometimes it will crash immediately when I press simulate button. It works fine with one or two effectors but it crashes with three. Is that a known issue and if yes is there any workaround/planned fix?

I attached my scene which is causing the crash to happen.

Hello,

Thank you for the report, but it seems that the attachment didn't get through.

Could you please try again ?

Ah, I can see the issue now - I can't attach anything to any messages. There's an warning logo next to my attachment saying "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached". My attachment is 51KB large so I think it's a forum-wide problem? I can send you that scene over the mail tho.

Hello,

Thank you for the scene.
The problem is actually in using an Effector with Turbulence noise scale - scale can become really small and it causes invalid velocities.
We have fixed this for FumeFX 5.0.1, but for 4.1.1 you'll need to skip using it in this way.
