How to use on Render Server ? - bernhard - 10-09-2015 If you run a simulation on one local machine, you save the voxel file on a server folder. But if you would like to render the simulation on the render farm.... well, how does that work ? - do you need to install FumeFX on each Server ? - and how many licenses do you need for that ? I was not able to find any tutorial or documentation on that. Thank you so much for any little help ! appreciate it ! Re: How to use on Render Server ? - jlelievre - 10-14-2015 I am doing some Fume sims on my network and can record a quick tutorial this evening if you think that would help? Re: How to use on Render Server ? - sitnisati - 10-19-2015 Hello bernhard, To render on the network, you need to install FumeFX plugin on network machines. For rendering with Scanline, FumeFX does not require any license. Make sure that the simulation path is in UNC format and accessible from all render machines. I hope this helps. Regards, Kresimir Tkalcec Re: How to use on Render Server ? - pixelblob - 10-23-2015 Are there separate Server licenses for network machines, or are they all the same type of license? @jlelievre, a tutorial would be extremely helpful! |
