Containing Afterburn with Geometry - Steve Green - 07-07-2006

Hi,

is there a preferred method for constraining the Afterburn effect by geometry?

E.g. smoke in a glass jar.

I guess there's some comping tricks you could do like render it out and project it back onto geometry, but I wondered if there was another way.

From what I remember the void Daemon would be a bit cumbersome for a complex object.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,

Right now there is no way to do that easily.
Void Daemon is one way, but as you've said, it can be unusuable for complex objects.
