Can't get Vmap feature to work under max 7 w/AB 3.2 |

I turned the noise levels to 0 as suggested in the AB help but it just goes to smooth balls. Yes, the vmap daemon is in the AB particles/daemons list, and I've tried scaling the noise all up and down and sideways. I've tried the typical max noise map and the cellular map but AB doesn't want to use them.

Hello,
I am having troubles with our render-farm and afterburn. I copied all files from afterburn's plugin-directory (afterburn.dlo etc etc) in our shared network plugin directory, but everytime I try to render something with AB in our renderfarm, it doesn't find any dlu files. Do I have to install AB on every renderfarm node or is there a "some sort of network plugin" for AB.

Sea Surface Shadows |

Can the sea surface receive shadows when using the sea material?
I can't get the sea to receive shadows, only the ship in the sea. I have tried using the shadows built into the sun light as well as a separate spot light to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Am I missing a setting? I get zero light and a black sky when the sun is lower than the horizon (or the light is lower than its target).

hi there,
opening MAX, I get this notice about douplicated plugin path...For Dremascape and the other particle plugin...
I checked my path preferences, but I cannot find a reason why the notice.
How do I fix it?

Dark spots in sea material |

Ok, I've never seen this before... maybe someone can help out. At times there are dark stripes in the ocean. I was wanting to do a ariel shot of the ocean but then ran into this. I tried playing with the sub surface but that has nothing to do with it. But sometimes adjusting the bump map on the material helps but when you rotate the camera they appear again.

subsurface net render fails |

Hi
I'm having big problems with subsurface. The scene renders fine locally, but net rendering gives me the subsurface only on frame 1. Subsequent frames are rendered as if subsurface is not present. Am I missing a setting? Or could this be a bug? I'm rendering with FinalRender.
I just tried rendering from a different frame. For example, if I render frames 50 and 51, 50 is ok but there's no subsurface in 51. It's the same for both the Simple and Physically Based models.
